Films: Wolf Town (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average wolves.

Affiliation: Neutral

Summary: Wolves are among the first animals that humans lived in fear of, if only because they come in numbers and can maul you something ugly. But then we domesticated some of them, and since then, fear of the canine has diminished. But their killing spirit isn't completely gone to the werewolves. Not while there are places like this...

History: Long ago, Paradise, California was set up to be a prosperous little town, only for it to be overrun by a pack of vicious wolves. Cut to the present day, and some reckless teens head over to the ghost town. Unfortunately for them, there are still wolf packs living there, and they love man-flesh more than anything.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After all but two of the humans are mauled to death and eaten, the survivors bomb a building and take out the majority of the pack. One is shown to have escaped this fate, but it wisely walks away.

Powers/Abilities: Surprising intellect, such as disabling a car.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3-On paper, a whole town inhabited by bloodthirsty wolves sounds like a death trap. And in some scenes, it feels like one too. But there are some problems. The wolves often seem to be in different scenes than the humans, they aren't really all that hostile-looking most of the time, and sometimes, they're just goddamn Siberian huskies, for corn's sake! You just want to pet some of these guys, is what we're saying. Then again, any dog's bite is painful, no matter what the breed.

Trivia: -Siberian huskies look so much like wolves because, really, all dogs are derived from wolves. It's just that the husky has been bred the least into deviation. That said, they are nowhere near as large or aggressive as their predecessors, and were bred to be sled dogs as well as basic hunters for people. Back then, they weren't fed much in return, sadly.

-Back then, wolf attacks were a common occurrence. But nowadays, it's incredibly rare for a healthy wolf to attack a human. Most of the time, wolf attacks happen due to rabies and the like. If anything, the wolf has more to fear from us than we do of it, with how often we end up hunting them for sport to the point where it's become downright illegal to hunt them in some areas. So naturally, the wolf's symbol of human evil is Sarah Palin. Then again, all woodland creatures hate her.
